Real Hit Radio first began broadcasting in 2006 via a peer to peer (p2p) streaming server. From these initial broadcasts the station received positive feedback from listeners around the world who said they enjoyed the mix of music and chat that Real Hit Radio was broadcasting. Encouraged by that, the station decided to look at more professional platforms to broadcast their output. In the latter part of 2007, Real Hit Radio began broadcasting via Windows Media Streaming Servers, which meant the stations output could be accessed more easier by the listening public Our biggest achievement to date was in 2008, when we were accepted as an official Microsoft Windows Media Radio Station, which entitled us to be listed on the Microsoft Windows Radio website We are now also listed on these popular radio portal websites... Radiopaq , Reciva , Frontier, Radio Tower and Web Radio Central Real Hit Radio continues to go from strength to strength, gaining massive world wide listening figures along the way So heres to the next few years...who knows what may happen!!
